Description

Something that I've been wanting to do for *Slasinth for a long time. But every time I started a picture for him, I would always hate it in the end. This picture though, I really like the pose... it's just everytime I came up with a background... I would HATE it. So I decided not to do a background XD and use words. I don't know why.

It's about time I gave you a picture ^^

I love this piece. It's very engaging and intriguing. You can very easily tell that there could be a story behind what goes on this picture.

The way I see it is this:

Slasinth is a genetically engineered creature that resulted from a top-secret government experiment to create the ultimate super-soldier for purposes of world domination. Kidnapped as an orphaned hatchling, he was brought to a remote facility in the desert, where he was injected with a serum that gave him permanent anthropomorphic features. As a child, he was given a similar serum that gave him super-intelligence, making him uniquely skilled with mechanics, technology, and of course, weaponry. Then, as a young adult, he was injected with one last syringe that gave him super human strength and speed. It was at this point that the experimentation was near complete.

However, during his time spent in the facility, Slasinth was a prisoner and a victim of relentless torture. During all three times he was injected with a syringe, he not only had to be strapped down, but also gagged with duct tape, denying him the opportunity to verbally protest each time. And in-between, he was kept in total isolation, his only two companions being a pair of compassionate scientists who would visit him regularly in secret. After one was fired and the other executed, he swore revenge, and once he was injected with the third and final syringe, that was his chance to break free, escape, and begin exact that revenge.

So, he ran; he ran as fast as he could, because he was able to. He faught through hundreds of soldiers and escaped his life-long prison, and was free to roam around in the outside world, as long as no other human saw him in public.

Slasinth continues contemplating revenge on the evil corporation that tortured and experimented on him and even took away the only two friends he had at the time. With the aid of a few human friends he aquires on the way, he embarks on a journey to put an end to the corporations plans for global domination.

I have a feeling someone should turn that into a legitamite fictional work, be it a book, a movie, or maybe even a video game or graphic novel. I think that would be really cool.

Anyway, The drawing style is excellent. I really like the amount of detail and effort you put into it. However, there's one thing I'm confused about:

I honestly like the background you chose, but what baffles me is that if you couldn't come up with a good enough background, why couldn't you just ask someone else to draw it for you? Lots of people do that, you know. It's called an 'art collab'.

Aside from that, you did a great job on this drawing! Keep up the good work.
